What are Documents & Data on iPhone and iPad?
There are two types of Documents & Data on iPhone and iPad and occupy more space. Now you have to delete app specific caches and other related app data to free space.
The Documents & Data on iPhone is associated with your iOS apps like caches, App data, login data and etc. Documents and Data is connected with iCloud but that data is stored in iCloud.
How to Delete Documents & Data on iPhone, iPad
There are many ways that you can use to delete Documents & Data on an iPhone or iPad. One of the simplest way is to uninstall and reinstall the app again. Apple iPhone has no any option to manually delete caches and app data.
When you delete an app, and re-download it, it will automatically remove all the unnecessary data.
Step 1: Open Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2: Go to General > Storage & iCloud Usage.
Step 3: Go to Manage Storage below Storage and then find and select an Application that have Documents & Data. Like Twitter or Facebook
Click on Delete App.
Step 4: Now go to App Store and download the same application and start using it.
After downloading, go to Apps section again and see the size of Cache of that App. There are some apps that occupy more Documents and data including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
